To calculate our Top 100 Albums of 2015 list, which we posted back in December, we asked each of our writers to submit a personal list of their favorite albums of 2015. Writers were encouraged to submit a Top 45, although both shorter and longer lists were accepted. We’ve now decided to collect all our writers’ individual best albums of 2015 lists below. Perhaps you tend to gravitate towards the tastes of one of our writers and you’re curious to see how their list lines up with yours. And, of course, if you want to see how the full vote turned out then head over to our Top 100 Albums of 2015 list. The titles on the most writer lists, in the highest positions on those lists, made our Top 100.

The post starts with the lists of our two publishers (one of them being me, the other being my wife Wendy) and then continues with all our writers listed in alphabetical order by their last name. If you’re trying to be a detective about how our main Top 100 was derived from this list, it’s worth pointing out that included here are also lists from a few writers who joined the Under the Radar team after our Top 100 Albums of 2015 list was calculated. We couldn’t fit everyone’s list in one post, so make sure to also click through to part 2 for more writers.
