Camera Obscura’s Tracyanne Campbell Announces New Tracyanne & Danny Project via Teaser Trailer
Project Features Danny Coughlan of Crybaby and is For Merge Records

Camera Obscura
Camera Obscura understandably haven’t had much activity since the tragic and untimely passing due to cancer of founding member and keyboardist Carey Lander in 2015. The band’s last album was 2013’s Desire Lines. But now frontwoman Tracyanne Campbell has announced Tracyanne & Danny, a new project with Danny Coughlan (who has previously released music as Crybaby). Merge records has shared a teaser trailer for the duo featuring snippets of new songs. And Tracyanne & Danny have launched a website and Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
The teaser is below, followed by some tweets from Campbell and Merge announcing the project. Some of the posts list May 25 as the release date for the album. The above image of the duo appears to be a press shot and was featured on their website and social media pages. We will report more when an album is officially announced and/or any full songs are shared.
