An Intense True Story

After wowing us with best-picture winner Slumdog Millionaire, director Danny Boyle is back with intense true story, 127 Hours. In the film, James Franco plays Aron Ralston, the hiker who sawed off his own arm after being trapped under a boulder for (you guessed it) 127 hours.

Boyle calls the movie “a challenge” for viewers, but the newly released trailer keeps it light with scenes of pretty people and extreme sports set to Free Blood track, “Never Hear Surf Music Again.” Check it out below or head over here for the high-def version. Film opens November 5th.

Hi
I’m 17 and have played basketball and volleyball. I’ve also done some martial arts. None of the sports I have done so far have really been activities that I love. I go to a 5A high school so I can’t just walk on to a school team. Do you have any suggestions for sports I can try?

127 Hours star James Franco and “The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg were recently featured on THR’s Awards Watch Actor’s Roundtable. Franco recently portrayed real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston in Danny Boyle’s “127 Hours”, while Jesse Eisenberg portrayed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in David Fincher’s “The Social Network”. Both films have garnered quite a bit of oscar buzz and both Franco and Eisenberg are likely to recieve best actor nods at next year’s Academy Awards for their respective portrayals.
