Brooklyn-based band HAERTS turned heads in 2012 with their fantastic debut single, “Wings.” Its documentary style video has over 1.2 million views on YouTube. The band never quite matched the euphoria of “Wings,” neither with their 2013 Hemiplegia EP or their 2014-released self-titled debut album (both which featured “Wings”), but now they are back with a promising new song, “Your Love,” via its video. Watch it below.

“Your Love” is the first taste of their sophomore album and some things have changed since their debut. Firstly, half the line-up has left, leaving only founding members Nini Fabi and Benny Gebert. Secondly, they have left major label Columbia. Julian Klincewicz directed the “Your Love” video, which is somewhat abstract and vaguely NSFW with a bit of nudity.

Fabi had this to say about the song in a press release: “Your Love is a song about us. It’s the crazy and almost reckless feeling that comes with the uncertainty of a love. The wish for answers that can’t be given, or an endpoint that I think does not exist. I don’t want to love you if you can’t love me now. Trying to rationalize something that can’t be rationalized.”
