Juliana Hatfield is releasing Juliana Hatfield Sings Olivia Newton-John on April 13 via American Laundromat. As its title suggests, the album includes covers of 14 songs by the English-Australian singer/actress who made it big in the 1970s and early 1980s thanks to films such as Grease and Xanadu. And of course Hatfield’s album includes a cover of “Physical,” Newton-John’s biggest American hit, which went #1 in 1981 and was the title track of her album also released that year. Now Hatfield has shared a video for her “Physical” cover, in which she is clad in a pink suit (and a black leather jacket in some shots) as she rocks out to the song with an electric guitar. On March 23 American Laundromat is also releasing a 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of Hatfield’s debut solo album, Hey Babe.
