Nominees for the prestigious Mercury Prize were announced today. Among the honorees are Under the Radar favorites Laura Marling (nominated for the second time), Foals, Mumford and Sons, and The xx. The winner will be announced September 7th and, in addition to bragging rights, will net a scholarship for his/her/their troubles .
