Listen: Jessie Ware - “Tough Love”
New Single Out Aug. 3 in the UK

As promised last week Jessie Ware debuted her brand new single "Tough Love" earlier today on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 program. Written by Ware and BenZel, the latter of whom also serve as executive producers on Ware's upcoming sophomore LP, the track is available to stream below.
"I had just finished a run of shows in the states and went to New York to wwork with BenZel for a couple weeks, mainly as a diferent focus to touring," says Ware in a press release. "I didn't have any expectations or pressures with what would come out of those two weeks, and I think 'Tough Love' sums this up. It was me experimenting with my voice and having fun with it. It just felt right and kind of dictated the route of the next album; much like 'Devotion' did on my first album."
While a release date hasn't been set for Ware's Devotion follow-up, "Tough Love" will be available Aug. 3 in the UK (no release date for the U.S. has been announced).
