Swans are releasing their new album, The Glowing Man, on June 17 via Young God. It’s the final album by the current version of the band. Now another track from the album has been shared, “When Will I Return.” The song features vocals by Michael Gira’s wife, Jennifer Gira. Michael Gira wrote the song specifically for her to sing, saying in a previous press release: “It’s a tribute to her strength, courage, and resilience in the face of a deeply scarring experience she once endured, and that she continues to overcome daily.” Listen below.
