London based group Mystery Jets relocated to Austin, Texas to seek inspiration for their upcoming fourth album, Radlands. The title is a reference to Terrence Malick’s 1973 film Badlands and Keith Richard’s Sussex estate Redlands.

Frontman Blaine Harrison explains via press release, “We've always wanted to make a record in America and after touring Serotonin the time felt perfect to go and do it. Our first three albums were entirely conceived and recorded in London so going out to Austin felt like the furthest place from everything we knew.”

Limited edition vinyl pressings of the album will also include a comic book co-written by Mystery Jets and Richard Elms.

You can listen to the song, “Sister Everett,” from the new album below.
