Phil Elverum of Mount Eerie and The Microphones has been seeking donations to help with his the costs of the cancer treatment for his wife, Geneviève Castrée, who is also a musician and has recorded as both Woelv and Ô Paon. Castrée was diagnosed with inoperable, stage four pancreatic cancer just four months after giving birth to their daughter. Elverum has set up a GoFundMe page to gather donations to help with medical bills and other costs, as neither of them have been able to work while dealing with both treatments and taking care of a baby. Neutral Milk Hotel are now also helping out and are hosting an auction with proceeds going to Castrée.

The auction includes a Neutral Milk Hotel box set signed 14 times that features an original drawing by Jeff Magnum, signed Bikini Kill and Fugazi items, and the headstock of a smashed guitar owned by Guy Picciotto of Fugazi. Find the auction here.
