Premiere: Long-Sam Mixtape (by:Larm Edition)

Today’s contribution in our by:Larm mixtape series comes from Long-Sam. The delicious mix of tracks, from classical, to classic, to classy (hello Dirty Projectors!) beautifully reflects the Finnish producer’s eclectic style. He calls the blend of songs Into the Light.

“This is an ambience for the spring,” he says of his picks. “I wanted to create a mix with calmly shifting colors, events in slow motion and a spacious experience that allows you to observe any detail. There are also some tracks that I just wanted people to hear since some of them are relatively unknown to many. One of these is the new group Solano, who are just releasing their ambitious debut album and preparing some interesting live shows. All in all this selection of tracks emphasizes sounds and progressions, not songs. It's a reminder that there is an undertow with impossible outlines.”
