Radiohead Are Working On New Album
Jonny Greenwood Confirmed King Of Limbs Follow-Up On BBC Radio
Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood confessed that the iconic British band are back in the studio in an interview on BBC Radio Oxford.
"I'm late, they've all gone there now. We're currently playing and recording and it's fun to see everyone again, it's been a long time coming, we've been waiting all of us for a long time," he said.
Greenwood said the new material is in very early stages, so no release date or album title have been released yet. Greenwood said, ""It always feels when we start up like we still don't know really how to do it, and we don't know quite what to do. 'Looking down avenues' is a very kind way of putting the kind of fumbling that we do, mainly because every time we try and do it like the last time - because that worked - it never seems to work."
Now that he's gotten everyone's attention, it's unlikely Radiohead will be able to pull off the kind of surprise release they made with 2011's King Of Limbs. But we'll wait patiently while they work through all of that fumbling.
