DJ Shadow has surprised released a new four-song EP entitled The Mountain Has Fallen. It includes collaborations with Danny Brown, Nas, and Oscar winning composer Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Attack the Block). The Nas collaboration, “Systematic,” was originally featured on the season premiere of this season’s Silicon Valley, back in April. DJ Shadow’s last album was 2016’s The Mountain Will Fall. You can stream the whole EP below. Also below is the tracklist and DJ Shadow’s upcoming tour dates.

DJ Shadow had this to say about the EP in a press release: “Prior to the last album, I made a lot of high-risk moves behind the scenes, including walking away from a comfortable major-label deal. My thinking was, If The Mountain Will Fall LP ends up being successful, I’d be in a much more positive place in my career. With everything that’s happened since it came out, I feel like I bet on myself and won. So I guess you could say that this new EP is my version of a victory lap. It’s a celebration, and an extension of those confident steps forward.”

The Mountain Has Fallen EP Tracklist:

1. Systematic (feat. Nas)
2. Horror Show (feat. Danny Brown)
3. Good News
4. Corridors (feat. Steven Price)
