The Flaming Lips have announced some new tour dates. They go down this July and August and The Claypool Lennon Delirium will open most shows. Check out all their dates below.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. local time, with a presale this Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time. Particle Kid are opening as well.
On Record Store Day The Flaming Lips released a new album, King’s Mouth, via a limited gold vinyl pressing of 4,000 copies. The album will get a full-on wide release on July 19 via Warner Bros. One of its songs, “All For the Life of the City,” was officially released online (and was one of our Songs of Week). King’s Mouth features spoken word vocals by Mick Jones of The Clash.
