Watch Run the Jewels Play a “Tiny Desk Concert” for NPR
RTJ3 Out Now
Run the Jewels (the duo of Killer Mike and El-P) recently released their third album, the appropriately titled RTJ3 (aka Run the Jewels 3). Now the band has stopped by NPR's offices to perform a Tiny Desk Concert. For the uninitiated, Tiny Desk Concerts are stripped down sets recorded at the desk of Bob Boilen, the host NPR's All Songs Considered. They performed "Talk to Me," "Legend Has It," and "A Report to Shareholders" and did a good job getting the NPR staff involved and engaged. "You know why they do these things, right, because for at least one week you can't complain about your fucking job," El-P joked. "I'm guessing they schedule this shit right before everyone has to do a lot of work." Watch their performance below.
