Watch Weezer Perform “I Love the USA” on “The Late Late Show with James Corden”

Back in late June Weezer released a brand new patriotic song, “I Love the USA,” just in time for Independence Day. The song was commissioned by NASA and Apple Music in honor of the Juno unmanned spacecraft, a probe sent several years ago to study Jupiter that entered the planet’s orbit around July 4th. The song is also featured on the deluxe edition of the band’s latest album, Weezer (aka The White Album), and we were recently treated to a video for the song featuring comedian Patton Oswalt dressed in American flag pants while performing the song in the Oval Office. In a move seemingly timed to last night’s third and final 2016 Presidential Debate, Rivers Cuomo and the band performed the song last night on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
