The Good, The Bad, & The Queen are releasing their long-awaited sophomore album, Merrie Land, on November 16. Previously they shared its title track (which was one of our Songs of the Week). Tonight’s BBC music show Later… with Jools Holland featured several memorable music performances. Jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington performed “Fists of Fury.” Christine and the Queens (aka Héloïse Letissier) performed her current single “Girlfriend,” complete with choreography and backing dancers.
