Pacific Northwest hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces are releasing two new interconnected albums, Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star and Quazarz vs. The Jealous Machines, both due out July 14 via Sub Pop, as well as a graphic novel version of the latter due out August 18 via Fantagraphics. Previously they shared Born on a Gangster Star‘s “Shine a Light (feat. Thaddillac)” and “Since C.A.Y.A.,” which features Thundercat, and Jealous Machines’ “30 Clip Extension” and “Julian’s Dream (ode to a bad) [Feat. The Shogun Shot].” Now they have shared another song from Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star, “When Cats Claw.” Listen below, followed by their upcoming tour dates.
