Scottish pop duo The Cords have released their festive single, “Favourite Time,” marking the end of a busy year. The track, recorded over two days during sessions for their debut album, combines jangling guitars, lively drum fills, and sleigh bells for an upbeat seasonal offering.
The duo, sisters Eva and Grace Tedeschi, have had a standout 2024. Highlights include performances at Belle and Sebastian’s Glasgow Weekender, Glas-Goes Pop!, and Duglas T. Stewart’s show, as well as a Coventry gig with San Francisco band Cindy.
“Favourite Time” runs for 2 minutes and 42 seconds and captures the fun side of both the band and the season.
The single is released jointly through Slumberland Records and Heavenly Creature Records, with sleeve inserts printed by Glasgow’s Good Press and artwork by the sisters’ father, Marc Tedeschi.
