British psych-rock band TOY are releasing a new album, Clear Shot, on October 26 via Heavenly. Previously they had shared its first two singles “Fast Silver” and “I’m Still Believing.” Now “I’m Still Believing” has a video. It intercuts footage of the band performing the song with quick cuts of stock footage and images. London-based filmmaker Bunny Kinney directed the clip and a press release says he “envisioned a video aesthetic resembling an old stumbled-upon VHS tape that had been recorded over numerous times, complete with snippets strange programs and advertisements left behind from previous owners that flicker and fade in and out of the footage of the band performing.” Watch it below.
Clear Shot is the band’s third album, the follow-up to 2013’s Join the Dots, and was mixed by Chris Coady. Last year TOY also collaborated with Bat For Lashes (aka Natasha Khan) and producer Dan Carey as SEXWITCH. SEXWITCH’s self-titled album featured six covers of songs by artists from different countries, including two songs each from Iran and Morocco and one song each from Thailand and America.
