Listen: Sun Kil Moon - “Ali/Spinks 2”
New Album Universal Themes Out This June
Mar 06, 2015 Sun Kil Moon
This coming summer Sun Kil Moon, aka musical artist Mark Kozelek will release Universal Themes, the follow-up to last year’s Benji. Previously sharing the included track “Possum,” Kozelek has offered up another cut titled, “Ali/Spinks 2.” In addition to making reference to the 1978 heavyweight title fight between Leon Spinks and Muhammad Ali the song’s stream-of-consciousness lyrics also touch on HBO’s True Detective, a tell-all book on The Doors, and actor Keith Carradine. Scroll down to listen the song and view the album’s tracklist. Universal Themes comes out June 2.
