Sly Stone To Release Stone Flower Compilation Box Set
I'm Just Like You: Sly's Stone Flower 1969-70 Available Now
During Sly and the Family Stone’s peak, the soul icon and frontman Sly Stone launched a shortly lived record label called Stone Flower. Now, Light In The Attic Records is releasing a compilation album consisting of the label’s releases plus bonus material. I’m Just Like You: Sly’s Stone Flower 1969-70 will feature an exclusive interview with Sly Stone, in-depth liner notes from Stone Flower musicians, plus all five Stone Flower produced singles and ten previously unissued cuts from the label archives. Watch a trailer about the project below. The compilation is available on CD an digital release now, and will be released on vinyl in November.
