That perverted cartoon Drag City posted earlier this week (see above) wasn’t fooling. The third Joanna Newsom full-length is indeed entitled Have One on Me and it’s out February 23rd in the U.S. This is the long-awaited successor to 2006 modern classic Ys. Newsom’s Australian imprint, Spunk, just made the big announcement. The LP is out February 19th in Australia and was recorded in Japan last year. More details are coming soon. (Very exciting!)
