Brace the Wave Out Today via Joyful Noise

Lou Barlow
Lou Barlow (Sebadoh, Folk Implosion) released his new solo album, Brace the Wave, today via Joyful Noise. In honor of its release, today he’s also shared a new video for “Repeat.” Directed by Adam Harding, it chronicles Barlow unsuccessfully trying to video chat with someone via Facetime while also performing the song in a hotel room. The clip seems to illustrate the loneliness of life on tour.
Brace the Wave is Barlow’s first solo album in six years, it was recorded in just under a week with Justin Pizzoferrato in Easthampton, MA. Check out the video below, followed by his upcoming tour dates. Also read our 2014 interview with Barlow on the 20th anniversary of Sebadoh’s Bakesale.
